Woodstock And A Night At The Museum
The more they stay the same… Fall comes with its change in the season, and yet we feel so completely at home with that change. It is a welcome shift in viewpoint. The seasonal shift was one of the things that I always missed during my years in California. I am truly an East Coaster at heart.
Anyhow… into Woodstock and the Woodstock Theater we came.
Sure I remember George Bernard Shaw… who doesn’t? The actors and actresses are lost in ...

The World Keeps Turning
So we sold Hillside Farm… after a quarter of a century there. I’ve never been in one house so long… ever. Originally, we were just going to live there until we built something over at the FPR. Well, it took a little longer than we expected, but here we are. I’ll miss these woods… they will always be beautiful in my mind’s eye… but the forests in Bedford Township are no less magnificent!
Like I told our daughter, we all ...

This Jazz Alley gig is a boatload of fun. Our pal Steve James stopped by night before last to say HI on his way to Eastern Europe. Steve is the best, and a master of his craft. Check out his song, Talco Girl if nothing else!

First Night At Jazz Alley
Foto by Phil Jacobs
We drove in from Bend, Oregon and checked into the Warwick for a night while our digs got ascertained. Seattle is a strange and wondrous place, especially if you’re driving.
An early morning radio show and then down for First Avenue and the Federal Surplus store to get batteries for my Surefire flashlight… then off to Jazz Alley.
Jazz Alley is a cool joint… tricky to find parking though.
