Message From Nashville

It’s been a busy couple of days but fortunately we stopped here in Nashville on our way to Lexington, Kentucky so after a great steak dinner at the Palms I have a few moments to catch up on my blog before I hit the sack.

We had a wonderful time in Orlando and Fort Lauderdale. The shows were great (as usual). Thanks for regularly visiting us folks in Florida — and don’t forget how nice it is down here in the winter!

Speaking of Marty Balin……..I was up in Woodstock three days ago and wandered into one of the many stores. One store was selling re-cycled 45 vinyls in a very creative way. The middle of the record had the yellow adapter for the turntable and numbers were very neatly punched out around the edges showing the hours on a clock. The hour and minute hand were attached, the back of the record had the battery holder and the whole thing was secured on a lucite stand. So what clock “45” record was this? Jefferson Airplane’s White Rabbit with the RCA label, produced by Rick Jarrad, recorded Nov. 3, 1966. Never seen anything like it so, I bought it and it really works.

  1. No trackbacks yet.
