Woodsongs In Lexington, Kentucky

Mountain Heart soundchecking on the Woodsongs stage.

Yesterday good old fun loving Hot Tuna drove up to Lexington, Kentucky from Nashville accompanied by the folks from Dish Magazine who withstood the rigors of the bus to get an interview with me and the boys. Stay tuned on this one…

At Woodsongs we played the following:

1. Children Of Zion
2. Second Chances
3. Hesitation Blues
4. Goodbye To The Blues
5. Vicksburg Stomp

…and in the little ‘encore. for the studio audience… 99 Year Blues

After the show wrapped, Barry went to the Lexington Airport, Jack to the Cincinnati Airport and we are getting ready to head back to Pomeroy from the Queen City. It’s been a great little run… all the way…

Home is calling…

Some interesting journey notes. We do co exist in different places at the same time, don’t we? The music is an extension of families co existing and coming together from time to time; what a refreshing thought. Imagine, not the alienated Waters/Gilmore take (they are great,
Wall was brilliant) but having the being a part of it all experience; a gift you guys have given us.
Safe sailing (or busing), always look forward to NY area shows. Some Bay area co conspirators tomorrow, NRPS.

Maybe for Christmas I can get some Marty Balin singing so beautiful with Jorma and Jack. Love Marty and miss him very much.
