Burning Lights!

Burning Lights!

Izze and Vanessa and I went to Danielle and Kevin’s house for the first night of Hannukah tonight. There were their kids, Zev and Ruthie and some student friends from Ohio University… good food… friendship and music. Good times indeed!

To all of my friends out there…

Chag Sameach

Happy Hannukah to you and your family. You may remember me from Higher Ground , Burlington VT, I brought you a gift after the show. My name is Mindy Bregoli and I love your music, so do my chickens and other various critters.
it was Barrys’ Birthday that night,Your friends from college were there, and your manager remembered me from White River Junction VT.
You came out with open arms. Jorma, your music is very soothing to my spirit. I have a picture of you, Barry and I in my kitchen, smiling away ~ It makes me smile every time I see it, so, I am wondering if you got my Hannukah gift today? It’s a thank you for the music. I sent one to Barry too, but they were back ordered and his won’t be there until after the New Year.
If you haven’t recieved it, you will, and if you know me, you would know it’s edible and perishable, so, I hope You will get it in a timely fashion.
Bill and I will be seeing Acoustic Hot Tuna on Friday, Feb 24th at the Colonial Theatre in Keene NH to start off the New Year! Look to your right, orchestra center, second row 4 seats in and you will see me! Thanks for the music Jorma, and thanks for being so gracious to me ~ Mindy Bregoli North Clarendon VT.

May you and your family have a very Happy Chanukah and healthy and joyous New Year..Have a Happy Birthday too, mine is the day before yours only a few years later..LOL…On another topic I am sad to see your tour so far next year is not very close to NYC,I usually get to see HT or you with Barry at least 4 or 5 times a year,so far not one. May be a sad year for this HT fan. Maybe I will have to do a little traveling.

Chag Sameach and Happy Chanukah to Izzie, Vanessa and Jorma. Be merry and eat fried foods this week.

By the way…Happy Birthday, Jorma. I think Izzie and Vanessa have their work cut out for them…they have to find a doughnut big enough to put all those candles on.

Next time you’re in NJ, stop by-I’ll make you potato pancakes (latkes) to die for.

My friends tell me that the 2nd day of Chanukah is a day of ascention. Great thing to think about as one works to raise the spirit higher each day. I just remarked to my buddy of 40 years at the Hot Tuna Beacon Theater show, “Hot Tuna is ASCENDING” and, after all these years, truer words were never spoken!

Jorma is the only artist I have seen perform, without exception, (near as I can reckon)at least once a year for the last 34 years. I have literally grown up, and almost old with this magical music as have so many of us.

Each show is more precious as time marches on.

God bless you and all you love Jorma!
