Getting ready to head out to Hawaii for a Fur Peace Ranch On The Road session… Tough job, but somebody’s got to do it. Pictures will be forthcoming when I get settled.
Thanks to everyone for their thoughts, prayers and well wished for Jack’s brother… and my old friend Chick Casady. Something must be working… he’s still hanging in their and I’ll tell you, it didn’t look good in the beginning. Keep’em coming… couldn’t hurt, could help.
Gotta finish packing… where is that bathing suit?
Just want to thank you for keeping the Rev’s music alive. I played my first Davis song 30 years ago and am just now starting to unlock the secret of his left thumb. Whew! It’s humbling.

Continuing with the good thoughts for Chick first of all>>>>>>>>>>>
K…..40 chilly degrees here on a Sunday afternoon in North Carolina….About to fire up Breakdownway and continue with my Been So Long Lesson. It ain’t Hawaii with Jorma, but it’s still a pretty darned good way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Stop rubbin’ it in. Wind chill is about 15 degrees here on Long Island and it’s blowing to beat the band. Hawaii sounds pretty good! Anyway, have a safe trip and don’t get too sunburned. Glad to hear Chick is hangin’ in there. And I’m still including him in my daily prayers. “Keep right on prayin”.
