Rochester Redux

I don’t know what happened, somehow I managed to delete my Rochester entry. Ageless pearls of wisdom lost in cyberspace. Anyway… it was hot… very hot at Water Street. We opined that this might not be a great gig. How wrong we were. It was hot, in more ways than one. The joint really rocked and here is our set list:

Wednesday, July 28, 2010

Fantastic show in Rochester, even in the extreme heat. All of the shows I’ve seen have been great, but this Electric one was special – I thought I was back in the mid 70’s. I sure hope you are making a DVD of this tour so I can enjoy it over and over. Plan to make it to the show in North Tahoe.

Hope you keep coming back to Vermont, our home for the last 35+yrs. We usually see you at the Ironhorse in Northampton, MA but caught this show while back in Rochester visiting friends. And what a show it was! Memories-First saw You and Jack at my first GDead show at the UofR Palestra-You came and jammed till 3 after your Airplane gig at the Rochester War Memorial, way back in 1970.(I’ve never been the same since) As you said-HOT but beautiful night. Glad you and “twinkle toes” are still playing, along with Barry and All. Fantastic, Electric show. And Thanks for Watersong at the end. Still dancing after all these years and hopefully still more to come. Take Care and Thanks again for some truly great music.
