Yesterday we got on the road at 0600 and drove seven hundred some miles to Chapel Hill. Traffic… weather… the whole I-95 experience was ours… but we made it, and at home the power came back on. I’ll bet Vanessa and Izze were smiling. Tonight we’re at the Arts Center in Carrboro. Not much to report on these long travel days except that I am so grateful we’re able to do what we love… with that in mind, we’ll take the day ‘off.’

Onward…

Mi coraçon se alegra de verTe!
Thanks Jorma to keep on surrogating your devastating absence with healing devices.
They work in the deep where the light is yet to come!
Someone threw overboard a life buoy with Jorma Kaukonen and Tommy Emmanuel written on it, it’s drifting to the next ‘Rock And Roll Island’ in the middle of the time seas.
Thanks Captain! Steady As She Goes!

I was at the show at the Arts Center in Carrboro last night. I had a wonderful day and evening. I am counting my blessings- spent the day with my husband driving up to Chapel Hill, noontime recovery meeting in Chapel Hill, time with my grandson in the afternoon, and finished the evening with a Hot Tuna show. It doesn’t get any better than this. You and Jack and Barry were awesome! Thanks so much!
