The World Theater in Austin

The World Theater in Austin

Last night, me and the boys (and the girl, but we’ll get to that) played the One World Theater in Austin. We haven’t been back to Texas for a while and it was not only great to be here again, but we got to have the wondrous Cindy Cashdollar sit in with us. We haven’t hung with Cindy for a while, so this was beyond great. In the words of the great Steve James, ‘When you play with Cindy, you know she is the heaviest cat in the band!’ Some fun and right on Steve!

Nice Set Jorma! I have heard Cindy just recently, funny you guys have played before, also was working out to Jorma Kaukonen radio on Pandora and a few Brian Bibb songs played and he is awesome. Can’t wait to see you guys in Portland, OR in a few weeks. Keep her steady and safe travels always!

I think Red River Blues was with Cindy also. Always love to see her and fortunately get lots of chances here in Austin. thanks for coming to town!

Great show last night! Especially liked the Parchmans Farm->Keep your lamps trimmed and burning as well as the jam in 99 year blues. Sometimes forgetting a verse can be a good thing . . .or did I imagine that?

    Cheers, Chris

I love Cindy, she wrangles amazing sounds from various guitars, but there are some mighty “heavy” players in this band…
