Our tour got cut short as everyone knows by this time… but it is great to be home. I had my son Zach out with me on the road this summer so I’m tuned into him right now, but i don’t have to tell you parents with young kids how much my six year old daughter has grown and changed in the last month and a half… indeed.
Jack and Diana are home and I’m sure they will let me know more about what is going on as they find out themselves…
as always… hearts and prayers… always…
Onward
And the Lord said…When you see only one set of foot prints in the sand, That is the time when I carried you.
I’ve been thinking of Jack and Diana this week. Love and good energy to all.
Love and prayers to Jack and Diana….
My good thoughts and prayers for Diana and Jack. Peace be with you all.
Love,
Rob Weber
Thoughts and peace to the family members, especially Jack and Diana. While humanness humiliates all of us in so many ways we have an opportunity to glimpse at the light within which we can share with the world.
A busy life has kept me from these pages for a couple of weeks now. After reading your entries I am sorrowful to learn about Jack’s wife Diana. Not much can be said other than our prayers and our community here in upstate NY all pray for peace and acceptance for both Jack and his lovely wife Diana. You folks have given so much of yourselves regardless of what has been happening in your own lives over the years, I wish there was more we could do. please know that we do love you guys and you both have been a positive influence since my first show back in early 70’s. Home is where the heart is and enjoy todays’ blessings today the best you can, I learned that from you Jorma.
Enjoy your time with family that is what its all about, Prayers and Meditations go out to Jack, Diana and the family..The music is always great.. and it always puts us in that special place..but times like this show what life is all about.. find that inner strength…. you are all in our thoughts…
Bob and Eileen
Our thanks to Jorma for the little taste of being treated like rock royalty at the last sweetwater concert. I have never had the experience of so many attractive women laughing uproariously at my every witticism ( while they wondered who the hell I was sitting in that reserved section).
I offer my profound hopes to Jack and his extended family for the best and most peaceful out comes on that winding road.
After enjoying Mr. Casady playing with such joy and mastery then, I find myself moved even further.
I hope Janice and I can visit Fur Peace and Alex in Ohio soon. Yours, Ran&Jan
Welcome home Jorma .Prayers to Jack & Diana .The entire Tuna universe is by your side right now .Love you Jorma !! Your my idol
Hey Jorma,
I think Angelo has an AWESOME idea. Let us give something back to you and Jack. The weather has been great, you have some time off, and bikers love to ride. I would be willing to help organize something in Upstate New York and I’m sure you could get people to help all over.
Just a thought….
My prayers go out to Jack and Diana. I saw the electric show this summer in Richmond VA. Thought Jack played outstanding and with so much feeling and energy. I never realized what he and his wife were going through. Makes it even more impressive…
Great idea, Angelo!
Hey Jorma we need you to put a bike run together for Diana and Jack to show them the much love we the Hot Tuna family have for them. With all entry fees to a charity chosen by Diana and Jack. I would ride from Long Island to make that run. So fill up the tank, lube up the chain, kick up the sidestand and fire that pony up and LETS RIDE !!
Love and light to Jack and Diana. may you stay in the light always!
Hot Tuna cancellations are rare indeed. I recall what I believe was ’78 @The Palladium, which became Jorma solo & a long Tuna hiatus. Ble ssings that your partnership has endured, and is better than ever! I feel so lucky to continue to experience the magic of HT, and learn important life lessons along the way. To thine own self be true.
Jack is a champ. The past couple of years he has just kept on playing. I never would have guessed what was going on with him personally. I mean, how many shows did Jack just take over and get everybody rockin’. I remember this past tour in Montclair he jumped up on Skoota’s platform and started going nuts with an ear to ear smile on his face.
How many times … Jack, I am so sorry to hear what you and Diana are going through. Be strong!!
Tomorrow i will drive my son Paul to Kennedy airport and he will fly to Alaska to begin a career in teaching. My heart is heavy ; but i am excited for him. Paul is a fan ; catching his first electric show in Red Bank this summer. I have never been to Alaska before but it would be great to catch Tuna there next spring or summer and visit with paul at the same time. What do you think Jorma?
our love and prayer for diana, jack and the extended family. so sorry.
My thoughts and prayers to Jack and Diana. So sorry………..

Hi Jorma and Vanessa,
Welcome home, enjoy the time w/ your family.
Jorma, your phrase “hearts and prayers” reminds me of a well liked Paul Simon song “Hearts and Bones…” Prayers for Jack and Diana….
George…trying to stay cool on Long Island
