I’m looking at this photo of you Diana thinking of how much of a wonderful woman you must have been. Your life together with Jack must of been filled with love, respect and honestly. I do not know Jack personally, like many others only thru his music. So on the day I read that you left I cried. As I’m sitting here writing this tonite looking at your photo and your smile that’s bigger than life it self I know that you are a wonderful woman and you gave Jack the best in life a man could have. For the time the two of you had together for however long or short, I’m sure Jack will remember it with all the love the two of you had. So Diana your time here has made this earth a better place and I thank you for it. May your soul rest in peace and in the hearts of all who loved you.

I am not sure I can say anything more than what Angelo has so eloquently said. Rest easy Diana and maybe we meet on the other side.

    Jack, Jorma & Barry – there’s a song in here somewhere . . .

    Jorma,
Thank you for posting this beautiful picture of the most gracious Lady I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I will forever remember Diana and Jack’s hospitality back on our 2003 Route 66 ride…especially the pillow mints!
Diana and Jack’s love and devotion to one another through their long and grueling battle is inspirational, and we will all miss this wonderful Lady.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Jack and his family, Diana’s family, and their friends.

Angelo said everything I could but better. A friend’s wife, who fought a similar battle over the last 11 years, passed away early this morning – another reminder we should cherish each moment we have with each other and treasure the memories.

This could be a good time to re-listen to “By Your Side”, from Jack’s album Dream Factor. He told me that he wrote it for Diana.

Not much to say that hasn’t already been said, except to say, again, peace, love and God bless. We can’t say that to each other too often. Jack — I know you’ll carry on the way Diana would have wanted you to. It really does get better; trust me, I’ve been there.

Bless you Jorma for keeping us in the loop. You guys are a big part of my life, and when I see the struggles Jack and Diana have experienced for so long my heart goes out to them, and to you, a dear friend. Just know, with a twinkle in your eye, that you have *good* friends out there that have been sharing the same movie now for over 40 years. And thanks Jack, for the best free bass lessons a mortal could ever hope to experience.
