Just left SoCal after a restful week with my clan. It was nice to spend time with our mutual friend, Rick, up in Burbank. He gave us (Jack and I) a great tour of the town and is himself a vast wealth of musical knowledge. I hope you enjoy California as much as I surmise you will.

Electric Hot Tuna coming back to Patchogue Long Island this coming July. The last time i saw Tuna there i came away thinking that i had just heard one of the best Hot Tuna shows ever! Stroudsberg Pa and Ocean City NJ are also on the scheduale. It looks like 2013 is shaping up to be a fine year for Hot Tuna fans. See you at the shows everyone.

Jorma, looking my-t-fine. as john b said looks like another great year to be a east coast, tuna lovin, salty dog. with patchouge, amagansett and ocean city on the the tour, maybe we’ll get a Sea Child in there, then upstate to that sweet country air and to the original site of Woodstock @ bethel woods. now that we dodged that mayan bullet-dec 21- i feel a lot better and lookin forward to another good spring and summer. jorma, do u remember an old la group called LOVE with arthur lee, thought u’d be perfect coverin one of their songs. anyway say hi to Jack for me. peace

Wondering if Jorma was looking like such a happy camper after his Tamale breakfast worked its way through his system.

Or he just took a big dump after the tamales did their thing. when i first looked at the “happy camper” i thought a big black “lucky” dog was lickin Jorma’s balls – and thats the reason for the big smile!
