Beautiful Week For FPR On The Road

January 22nd, 2013 Jorma Leave a comment Go to comments

Just a short note as I get ready for breakfast here by Mission Bay. Indeed, we have a full house this week for our second session here in San Diego. Considering how cold things are at home in Ohio this week, this is indeed a nice place to be… although, of course, weather notwithstanding, there’s no place like home. Of course for this session of the Fur Peace Ranch On The Road we have Barry Mitterhoff, Marjorie Thompson and David Wolff on board. With a constellation of stars like this, we and the students are sure to have a grand time…

Onward.

Jorma – I’ve been catching your shows back east since ‘78. I’m heading to Solana Beach Sunday to catch my first show of your’s in Calif. Certainly back then @ the Palladium it was ok to scream out requests – but I don’t think that’s the way to go these days in these settings -so in advance, any chance to hear a Water Song or Mann’s Fate on Sunday? It would really make my day/trip!

Thanks for sharing so much wonderful music over the decades. You’re an inspiration. Peace to you and your family.

@John B….Outpost in the Burbs…http://www.outpostintheburbs.org/concerts.html The show will be in the Unitarian Universalist Congregation. Nice space. 180 degrees out from those thrilling days at the old Lone Star Cafe!

@John B Oh I don’t know, 300 maybe. Not huge. I see a couple City Winery shows just got added too. Cool. But I’m psyched for the Montclair show…practically in my back yard.
