Ocean Beach before breakfast...

The days started for Barry Mitterhoff and myself with a walk on the pier on Ocean Beach before breakfast. Good food and then back to the Resort for our day with Fur Peace On The Road. A great day teaching and a fine open mike for the students.

After dinner, David Wolff and Marjorie Thompson each did a short set and then Barry and I hit the stage for our first show together this year. Here is our set list… more or less:

    Jorma,

That ocean looks so inviting considering I woke up to 18 below this morning, at least it’s one day closer to Spring. Hope your tour starts out well and looking forward to seeing you at the shows.

Have a top notch start to the tour in AZ.
I will be out in sunny CA. 2 times in near future..end of Feb and start of March…looking forward to sun/surf after workdays. Too bad I will not be there for any Tuna shows but will catch shows on East coast…yes..

Magnificence of a photo. Can’t smell it so magnetic, but our souls can fly right over the endless motion of the Pacific Ocean with a live feeling of spiritual peace, actually suggested by the photo itself, and a hot beating heart.
    Magic Thanks Jorma!
    Peace be the journey.

I hope you got to try the Fish Tacos. I just went ahead and checked out the Musical Instruments Museum web site, and it says the show is SOLD OUT! Looking forward to Mccabes as always.

Looking forward to tonight at MIM. A beautiful venue, btw. Have not seen Jorma since Merlefest ‘04 and again in ‘06 where David Bromberg joined HT on stage. More good memories tonight!

Jim: I did get tickets for both shows on Saturday and also for Soho as well. I’m sure there will be a water song in there somewhere.
