It was raining as it often does up here… when we left the gig. This morning is crisp and beautiful. Sometimes moments in a place are frozen in time… in this case, thank goodness, not much has changed! We are now off to Grants Pass, Oregon and the Rogue Theater. My good old pal, Jack Casady, is coming in tomorrow to Medford and tomorrow night we start the first night of the Hot Tuna Acoustic Tour at the Rogue.

Yep… we’re puttin’ the band back together… Onward with Hot Tuna!

I have to say, as much as NJ has to offer, there is something special about California that we don’t get back East.

Too many years? Wow, nice one! Just like Felix the Cat and his magic bag of tricks! The Captain reaches back into the archives. Sounds like great fun for everyone!

Looks like a pretty long tour coming up. Wishing you guys safe travels and sold-out shows! And decent weather, although, in the month of Feb, that is probably wishful thinking! By the way I purchased the re-issue of First Pull Up at Mccabes and it is very cool and well worth the $15

    Hey Jorma,

WOW….Too Many Years, that’s a blast from the past. I remember when you first did that song. Got tickets for both nights at the winery, so looking forward to heading down to the big city to see friends and two great nights of Tuna. Maybe a surprise guest there also or some more oldie but goodies. Enjoy the tour.

    Oh, mine Jormala!

These are the days when I should have, yet could not have been there for that show.

I’m looking at the photos from your dressing room, backstage at the Woodstock Reunion Seva Benefit concert in Nob Hill, 1994.

Your dad, Jorma Sr., hanging out with us in your dressing room:
You and I,Vanessa, Pete Sears, Jack and Bob sitting on those nice couches, until David Crosby came into the room and you all started rehearsing your parts:

    David Crosby:
    “NO, that’s YOUR part!”,
    “THIS IS MY PART!!!”

Bob, O.K. with the sequence of it all.
Your dad, Jorma Sr., just sitting there, smiling.

    Those were the days, Jormala!
