L’Shanah Tovah to all

With Rosh Hashanah upon us I must say Happy New Year to all! Tonight at family services I’ll be playing some guitar with Carole Weiner for the kids. It’s going to be a tough crowd, but Carole is a pro and I’ll do the best I can. The High Holidays are always a time for reflection and reassessment. Probably stuff that needs to be done all the time, but this at least gives me a venue and and opportunity.

I was just thinking about the metaphor of our new gate at the Fur Peace Ranch.

Our time on earth is filled with portals should we choose to walk through.

Tomorrow will be our annual 9/11 motorcycle run and on Saturday we host The Infamous Stringdusters in a benefit concert for the Athens Red Cross serving Athens, Gallia, Meigs and Vinton Counties. Gates open at six PM and the show is at eight PM. The grill will be on for burgers and dogs and the Station Break Cafe will be open as well. Be there for good food and a great show!

Gotta run… picking the little one up early today and heading to family services.

Shanah Tovah!

A very Happy one to you and yours.
In addition, thanks in advance for your efforts on 9/11/10. I will be at NY Presbyterian Hospital paying respects to my cousin Keith Fairben and 3 other EMT’s who paid the ultimate price serving others that day 9 years ago.
Everyone lost on that day will be in my heart
