Christmas in July

After years of holding an art show during the winter holiday season, The Fur Peace Ranch, will hold The Fur Peace Ranch Holiday Faire: Christmas in July the last week of this month with local jewelers, potters, painters, and crafts-persons showing and selling their arts and crafts. The Psylodelic Gallery will be open and there will be several art projects including painting the VW Bug, making tie dye shirts, making hula hoops and more for kids and adults alike.

This special event will be held Saturday, July 27, 2013. The Faire is free and open to the public from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The Psylodelic Gallery will be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Station Break Cafe will be open serving a variety of delicious foods. The evening performance with Hot Tuna is sold out.

The Fur Peace Ranch is offering you two (2) fabulous ways to win this summer!!

First prize for just $20 a ticket, you have a chance to win a weekend workshop at the Fur Peace Ranch (valued at $1375) The workshop may be transferred to another person as a gift certificate. The workshop prize is good for one(1) year and can be applied towards any FPR workshop in 2013 or 2014, including the FPR On The Road Weekend at the Dana.

Second prize is a framed Jefferson Airplane poster signed by Jorma and Jack. Poster promotes Jefferson Airplane performance at the Tanglewood Music Center in Lenox, MA on August 12, 1969. The Who and BB King opened the performance. Lights by the Joshua Light Show.

Winners will be drawn at the Fur Peace Ranch after the Holiday Faire during the Hot Tuna performance on July 27, 2013.

    Ah — I would love to have that poster. I was there!!!! I got to see the Airplane twice im about three months. If I recall, JA was really ON that night, it being a very nice outdoor venue. I found the Who loud and annoying, but my friends liked ‘em, so….

    Are there any of those posters for sale? Even unsigned?
