Early October In Golden Gate Park

Up ridiculously early this morning… ‘We’re going on early at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, It’s gotta be warm.’ That was my though as we left Marin at 0715 for Golden Gate Park and the festival. Such was not the case… it was in the fifties most of the day, but having lived in San Francisco for over twenty years, I knew it could be worse. Actually, it was great… me whining about the weather notwithstanding and here is our set list:

Hot Tuna 23, 2010
Jorma Kaukonen, Jack Casady
Barry Mitterhoff And Skoota Warner
Hardly Strictly Bluegrass
The Star Stage
Golden Gate Park
San Francisco, California
Saturday, October 2, 2010

1. Been So Long
2. I Know You Rider
3. I Wish You Would
4. If This Is Love, I Want My Money Back
5. 99 Year Blues
6. Rock Me Baby
7. Hit Single #1

My Les Paul LP-295 sounded great and I was sure glad that I brought my Louis Electric Amp

hardly.

Jack took this snapshot for me at the stage… yeah I know, it’s not us but it is the crowd at the festival… good stuff.

Tomorrow bright and early we’re off to North Shore Tahoe… well more specifically Crystal Bay Nevada for our gig at the Crystal Bay Club.

Up the mountain we go…
