Here’s a message from my lovely daughter, Israel Love. Help her meet her goal of 1000 boxes.

Taking cookies to the Post Office

A message from Izze………Hi everyone……As you will see in the iMovie my mom helped me make, it’s Girl Scout Cookie season and I have decided to do something a little different. It is my wish to have all of my orders for Girl Scout cookies go directly to the troops. If you are interested in helping me with this campaign there is no need to choose specific cookies. For instance, thin mints cannot be sent overseas, so we choose a very nice selection of everything else to send, then we will donate them to the troops who are serving in all branches of the Armed Forces. You can send your orders via email and the check (made out to Black Diamond Girl Scout Troop 1328 ) to me at the Ranch…..c/o Vanessa Kaukonen, Fur Peace Ranch, Inc., 39495 St Clair Rd., Pomeroy, Ohio 45769. Cookies are $4 per box….so hopefully you are smarter than a third grader and you add it correctly. The deadline for the orders and the money is January 27th. Thank you all so much!!!

OK… Jorma here again. Get on board folks… it’s a good cause.

Many thanks from us to you!

PS Important postscript. Email Vanessa directly at fpman@earthlink.net. She will be able to answer all your questions directly. She just told me she hasn’t gotten any emails yet so saddle up folks. We love you guys for helping out!

It’s “a message from Izze”. “To me at the ranch…” would be :to Izze.

Uh, that’s not very “On my Honor, I will do my best…”@jim hitchcock

    Barbara,

“to me at the Ranch…..c/o Vanessa Kaukonen”.

I know who to make the check out to.

    Jim: Please pay attention:
#1)Address the check to Izze’s Girl Scout Group: “Black Diamond Girl Scout Troop1328”@jim hitchcock
#2) Send the check to Izze, care of (C/O) Vanessa, at the Fur Peace Ranch address.
#3) e-mail Vanessa at the fp e-mail address and “pledge” your order of however much money your check is in the amount of.
#4) Put a stamp on the envelope and put the envelope in the nearest mailbox
(write your return address on the envelope).

But…do I address it to Jorma c/o Vanessa or just to Vanessa? 🙂

  15. Comment made on January 17, 2014 by jim hitchcock

Man, I love this idea. Izze rocks.

P.S. : I think that the payment is requested by “Check” because Izze is going to take her big envelope of checks, over to her Girl Scout leader.
So, “paypal” and credit card payment isn’t the way to send your good-natured
    orders.
Also, Vanessa is keeping “the books” on the orders so that all is accurate in Girl Scout Cookie Order Land. Send Vanessa your “cookie order” via the e-mail
that Jorma gave, above, at the end of his blog comment.

Izze and Vanessa: This is a great idea!! Thank you

Is there any way we can give you a credit card? We can add the process fee to cover any other costs. It would be so much easier than snail mail. A min order of 4 box or 10 bucks as an example. Just thought I would ask. 🙂

    Yours truly,

    David Sulkes

Perfect. I can make a donation, help out a lot of people in the process and not be tempted to eat any of the cookies. Yay!!
