Last night we were at the good old Aladdin Theater for a sold out show with David Lindley. We are pulling into end of this great run with David. It has and will continue to be an honor and a pleasure to share the stage with him. We sure hope we get to do it again soon.

By the bye, the great Tony Furtado sat in with David last night which was incredibly cool.

I had a terrific time at the Aladdin as I always do, but I was ready for bed when we were done. Good times… always.

We were originally supposed to drive to Seattle today but the bus needed to have a water pump replaced so we got a day off in Portland… which was OK with m because I got to get on the Blue Line and ride into town so I could go shopping at the Portland Outdoor Store for some real shrink to fit Levis… you know what I mean. The Portland Outdoor Store is really old school in every respect… no website, no internet shopping. Your either go there or call them up. Love it!

A little rain, but with my Honored Citizen (their Senior Citizen Card) pass… it was a buck for the ride.

My chariot arrives...

Tomorrow, bus repair willing, we drive up to Seattle for our show at the Triple Door.

No hotel tomorrow… we drive after show to Boise, Idaho for our gig at the Egyptian Theater.

More will be revealed about all these things. Now I’m starting to think about dinner… hmmm….

Why no appearances in southern California in 2014? Last time I saw you was in Davis, CA around 1981. It’s TIME again! An appearance at the Fox Theater, Riverside, would be MOST appreciated

Really looking forward to seeing you tonight in Boise. I’m a Fur Peace attendee and my bandmates are also attending tonight’s show to catch the goodness.

BTW, are there any plans for Jack’s 70th Birthday April 13th. You’ll be coming out of Florida and heading to Japan. Does the birthday boy wanna quiet day or a big Beacon birthday bash. Just asking…

There’s a joke here somewhere. What do most jeans have in common with a Holiday Inn – they both have no ballroom.

Great show at the Aladdin last night; I’ve seen Tuna in many aggregations, but you all sounded literally like a Chamber String Trio. Beautiful acoustics, and an attentive audience for you and David Lindley/Tony Furtado. Thanks to you, Jack, Barry and all of the musicians for all you’re doing to keep this wonderful music alive. Safe Travels, Blue Skies, and Green Lights!

Thanks for sharing the pics and set list. Saw you guys electric at The Aladdin in 1999 with Derek Trucks. It was a great show and I still have a framed poster signed by the artist from that show hanging in my office 🙂 Safe Travels up to Seattle!
