On the road again...

Yep… on the road again and en route to Chicago.

We breezed into Evanston sans traffic… what a concept. Evanston is a lovely little community that evokes a modrn European town… nice.

Welcome back Jack and Jorma! We saw you at City Winery last December…at least it’s not snowing this time!

I really want to write down some thoughts on last nights exquisite show, but I’m supposed to we working.

Let me just say for now, if I didn’t have to leave for the airport at 4am tomorrow morning, I’d be in SRO tonight. (SRO = standing room only.) And I still might show up.

Norma, will it be a similar song list or changed significantly.

Hot Stuff, errr Tuna, can’t get enough.

Anyone going tonight is in for such a treat.

That’s the way it is with Hot Tuna – you can never get enough. I wish I was in Chicago tonight.

Sad news about Johnny Winter; a loss for the music world indeed. Among other shows, I saw him on a co-bill with HT (Jorma & Jack, with Paul, Papa John & Bromberg) at Pier 84 in NYC the summer of ’88. The guy could play. Any thoughts on the man Jorma?

Hey, Willy, I was at that NYC pier show too, but don’t recall Johnny Winter that night. Too many years, I guess.

Genesis is such a special song in my wife and my personal history (36 years together!)That you played it as the encore just brought perfection to an excellent night of music. Thanks so much, Jorma & Jack (and Barry!), can’t wait to see you all again.
