We had so much great music over the weekend… Marshall Ballew came up from the Carolinas to pick for the folks… and he brought his PA which I used at the Gazebo Sunday afternoon. Thanks Marshall.

Our wonderful producer of Live At The Fur Peace Ranch (WOUB) also played a great set. Big Thanks to Rusty Smith… thanks for everything Rusty!

Then it was time for my live (onstage for me) phone interview with Grace Slick from out Malibu Way.

There’s only one Grace Slick and we were so lucky to have her on the line yesterday… great chatting with you Grace. You’re the bomb!

There was all kinds of activity this weekend. Here I am admiring one of O’Linda Jansupka’s fragile works.

And last, but not least… we had a winner for my High School graduation/BBQ King Jacket!

The jacket (in mint condition… made in 1959) was won by John Oesterle from Parkersburg, West Virginia. Congratulations John… I hope it lasts for you as long as it did for me!

    Even outdoors with a small PA, that Martin sounded awesome. Some wonderful new riffs made the standards sound fresh. Thanks so much for all you add to our community, I can honestly say the FPR has enriched my life.
    I was sorry I couldn’t stay for the Grace interview, but when the three yr old grand girl calls my cell and says I’m missed and needed, well, like The Rev say, “That’s when you gotta move!” all my best, m

    I’m sorry, but I am a computer Mo-Ron and need some help.
    Can someone please explain where and how I should use the code word SOCIAL to obtain pre-sale tickets (going on sale this Thursday, July 31 at 10 AM) to the December 13th Beacon show? Thanks in advance.

    Jorma,

    Was your interview with Grace Slick recorded and, if so, available to hear anywhere?

    Looking forward to my trip out to FPR in a few weeks for Moonalice show.

    Thanks

    @eaglesteve
    When your buying your tix thru tixmaster there will be a box – special offers or promo code – I forgot what they call it – you type in SOCIAL.

    @eaglesteve
    Is your last name eagle or do you just use it as an online name. Because my last literally means ‘eagle’. Just wonderin’.
