Eastern Standard Time

November 7th, 2010 Jorma Leave a comment Go to comments

Well… Eastern Standard Time came in this morning and I wish I could have taken advantage of it with an extra hour’s sleep but it was not to be. I woke up when I always do… early. Oh well, it was a beautiful morning here in Southeast Ohio so why waste it. There was some winterizing yard work to be done so I took my four and a half year old daughter Izze out with me and we did it together. She even sat on my lap and helped me drive the tractor. ‘Keep it between the lines girl,’ and if there were lines in the field, she would have done just that.

I’m out to the studio to work on some more stuff for the upcoming Hot Tuna project. All things considered… a perfect day so far.

Very excited about new album. Hope Jorma was hinting about ‘Children Of Zion’ being on it. I have been hoping Hot Tuna would play more Reverend Davis and ‘Children’ would be perfect. After listening to Hot Tuna all this time, I finally got around to listening to RGD. To say it was a revelation is not just a pun but the truth.
Keep on trucking brothers, keep on.

Yes…The prospect of New Tuna is a VERY exciting thang to think about….”Things That Might Have Been”…..Hope that one is one there too….nudge nudge wink wink

And as to Miss Izze keeping it between the lines, I’m sure a Mowing Master such as yourself will teach her well Jorma…..As well as teaching her how to color OUTSIDE the lines so to speak when it comes to her creative energies

Enjoy the close of FPR Season 13 this weekend.

Hi Jorma, I am looking forward to the new CD. It is always a pleasure waiting for additional music from you and the band!!! I live in Jersey but my son, wife and I will be missing your upcoming shows in NY and Englewood, NJ. Just like many others in this country, my job is going South in January and I am saving the money!!! Put on a good show and God Bless to you and the family!
