So… we made it to Portland all right, but you all knew that. The Aladdin has been a home away from home for us for some years now, and to be able to play a New Years show there was a welcome treat. Considering the fact that we haven’t done a New Years show in over a decade… it was a big deal for us. The ample crowd there made us feel more than welcome and Jack and dove into our show with great heart!

Happy New Year Jorma! Wishing you a great gig at the Ole’ Filmore tonight in SF. Wish I was there. Great spending stolen moments with you, your son, and Jack in DC, and great show. All good things in 2015!

Happy Happy New Year Jorma & Jack!! Show was phenomenal, thanks so much for coming to play for all of us. And for staying up past midnight, lol. Aladdin was fun little venue (first time there for me), although the seats leave a little something to be desired. 😮 Do wish more folks were up and moving to the music. But a good time was certainly had by all, smiles all around. I could have watched and listened for dayyyyyyys

Hope you enjoyed the little gift we sent back, and I love love love my poster 😉

Come back to Eugene soon please, we love you there too!!

All excited and tingly about seeing the show in SF! It has been a long dry spell not being able to hear Tuna Tunes live since 1970-something in Colorado. Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year Jorma, Jack, your families and the entire Tuna clan. No new year’s shows in a decade huh? That just ain’t right. My best New year’s nights were definitely at the Fillmore in SF in the ’90s.
It warms my heart to hear you write of your partners’ passion for playing. What you two have together is unmatched, in my opinion.
Yah, I agree, we’ve come a long way, as my life feels to me to be intertwined in a way, with yours. It’s kind of a small family. I have little family left, so I consider you two close to my heart. My affection for Hot Tuna is indelible. Carry on, take good care please. I’m moving west in 5 days. Seeya soon. Have a great time at the Fillmore!
