SXSW and Lucky’s Lounge

SXSW is wacked out… and awesome! Leaving the Convention Center after getting my credentials, there were a gaggle of kids playing instruments made out of recycled materials. Playing really well… Nice, very nice.

These youngster were getting it done!

Around 1800 we braved downtown traffic again and made it to Lucky’s in time for soundcheck…

The kids playing instruments out of recycled products reminds me of the first time I had the pleasure of meeting you (”backstage” upstairs at Peabody’s Downunder in November 1987) when you played “Dimples” with a band playing toy instruments (Pianosaurus) between sets. If it ever was available, I would buy that show on iTunes in a New York minute. Chip
