Then yesterday morning I took our lovely daughter, Izze, to the airport and and home she went to Mom. I’ll miss that girl, but she needs to deal with our new kittens.

The it was off to Boca… to the Funky Biscuit.

Cool... looks like there should be a dentist office nearby...

Yeah… this was a great gig! After the show, I met some real nice guys who gave me a hat that belonged to Papa John Creach. Now, I’m normally not much of a hat guy… but I’ll wear this one with pride… in memory of Papa John! What a wonderful man! We all learned to much from him… and played some great music!

PJ's hat and me!

Yeah… good times.

Onward!

Very awesome, just listened to water song for the first time in ages this morning and though what a great song. I seen videos with you playing with him and it’s funny to watch the facial expressions as you all played together. Good memories, and great hat, great picture, nice smile…

New kittens? Please, don’t leave a cat person in suspense. When you have a chance, give us the low down and show us kitty pictures, please. Cat lovers need to know.

    Love the Papa J Brim!
Indeed, he was a revelation on those early tuna records.
I remember reading an interview with him in Relix magazine where he said
towards the end of his Tuna trip, they were SOO LOUD on stage that they might
as well be “hittin’ washtubs with baseball bats!”
I really can’t see Pops sittin’ in on the “Yellow Fever” sessions ;>O

Nice hat! I remember Papa John wearing many a hat and play his violin with a style that added an undeniable dimension to both Airplane, Tuna and Starship alike. Memories and music to last a lifetime and beyond. Beaver Falls should be proud.

Jorma- that was me with my younger brother gary. John would have loved for you to have that hat and I’m so happy to have given it to you. I have many other treasures my dear friends left for me. Thanks for 50 years of music. See you gain soon! Joel
