My first stop after checking into the hotel was the Mifune in the Kintetsu Center. I’ve been eating here for almost forty years. Mmmmm… Tanin soba…

Then of course, one needs desert.

Great show in GG Park yesterday!
The electric trio is simply where it’s at.
    Period.
Jack, in particular, was blowing minds right and left.
Jorma, what pedals were you using on the les paul stuff?
In particular, that NASTY good tone on “Bowlegged Women”?

Man, Burnett would have to have been a kick. Kind of like a Cooder in his attention to the roots.

Yah Baby! The show at The Chapel was exquisite. Flawless sound. I got to sit front row far end to Jormas left side.
I got to see Jim Rowan, & T-Bone Burnett as well.
The Tuna Electric set was a thrill. A bit challenging to focus on the music with that many people moving about. The wind was blowing toward the stage causing some drop-outs of the sound. The boys delivered the goods, as always. Very enthusiastic crowd.
Now looking forward to Jorma in Santa Cruz!
I’m at home at a Tuna show.
    So blessed.
