We left White River Junction and didn’t stop until we got to New Jersey, where we stopped for breakfast at the Scotchwood Diner where, just like it says on their website, the menu is ridiculously huge. We dropped Barry off at his house with the bus. Hope we didn’t wake the neighbors up.

The mandolinist ponders in an introspective way…

The remaining gang and I headed to Newark where we will try to rest up a little before our flight to Israel for the Reading 3 show. I’ll be trying to keep the blog up to date while I’m gone. Safe flight to us…

Here’s a shot of me at the Beacon Show… thanks to Barry Berenson for this one. By the way… we will be releasing the Beacon Shows at some point.

Onward!

Great show at Reading3. i was the Tuna-tic that gave the HFT scream early on. Happy Birthday Jorma, one of the best shows I’ve seen by you guys and I have been seeing you since 1975 in the NY area and elsewhere.

I am a veteran of years of HFT shows at the Suffolk forum (many 4 plus hour marathons). I am so psyched to see you here in Israel. I will be the one shouting Hot F*ckin Tuna at the top of my lungs. Welcome to Israel!!

Wishing you a great spiritual experience in Israel. Wonder if a Hot Tuna tshirt w/Hebrew lettering is a possibility?

Geez. I used to go to the Scotchwood Diner all the time. Wish I’d have known Hot Tuna would have breakfast there on a Sunday morning. I would be eating in the next booth!

Looked at the schedule…can’t believe the electric band is going from Springfield, MO right to Springfield, IL and not stopping in between.

There’s a little burg on the way called St. Louis!
You might notice it, just before you cross the Mighty Mississippi.
It’s been forever since you guys played here, why are you skipping us?
    We LOVE Hot Tuna!
    Geez…

Full Circle, from 18 going on 70 to 70 going on 18- After that concert in KentState it was quite an all nite party in Cleve at my house, jamming in the living room & refilling that pineapple around jacks neck and all I’m amazed we all survived and prosper till now. Truly haShem watches over us. Have a wonderful ‘trip’ hahaha….
