Just a quick note about our return to the States. 75 degrees in Tel Aviv as we boarded the plane. 18 degrees in Newark, New Jersey as we were one of the very last planes to land. The rental car places were closed, the Air Train was shut down and we were in the midst of a serious winter storm. Fate held our hand, however, and we managed to find a car and driver willing to take us to the hotel in Clark, New Jersey, near Barry’s house. We were one of the only vehicles on the road moving and it took quite a while to go a mere ten miles.

Speaking of a mere 10 miles, the night we played our special concert in Tel Aviv at the Reading 3, a mere seventy some miles north, five rockets fell into Israel. How’s that for a reality check? With this thought in mind, getting a car rental and driving 450 miles is a walk on the beach.

Life is good for us today and most things work out for the best. More when I get home… whenever that might be.

Every day is a day closer to spring…

Welcome home Jorma. We are buried down in south Jersey as well. Builds character right? At least it’s light and fluffy!

I admit feeling just a little bit envious that you got to spend time in Israel during this month of “holy days”. Am truly happy for you and yours as you carry those blessings home. Peace and safe travels to all.
