Back In The Buckeye

A week ago today in Jerusalem:

dome of the rock

Like so many other people, the big blizzard of 2010 hit us as got off our plane in Newark… 75 degrees in Tel Aviv and well, you all know what it was like in the North East United States. The good news for us is that it was merely and inconvenience and not a tragedy. Our Israeli experience was unbelievable and my last memories of the Ben-Gurion Airport was the beautiful vintage poster bidding us a fond ‘goodbye!’
Tel aviv airport

Well, goodbye Tel Aviv, hello good old U.S.of A.! When we finally got to our hotel in Clark, N.J. Sunday night, this is what we saw:

But you know, once again we were so fortunate and before you know it, on Monday afternoon we were on !-68 Westbound looking at this:

the road home

Home again with all the attendant duties and privileges. It’s raining today and cold… I still love it. I Think I’ll walk with Nana the dog. Why make her go by herself?

Welcome back, glad you made it safely. Nice shot of the horizon there. It’s cold and wet, but at least we’ll see the 50’s here in Columbus and finally melt the snow in my driveway!

Monday afternoon, I too was driving on I68 heading east from Meigs County to the Hudson Valley (seems our paths often lead to equal but opposite directions). Keep doing the great things you do (I especially enjoy the updates from my hometown).

Best wishes for a Healthy and Happy New Year ! -Randy
