Mea culpa… as always. Last Saturday night… the 12th… our very own John Hurlbut put together an truly awesome show at the Fur Peace Station. In the course of the evening he mustered a crew for a bluegrass set… a rock set… a cluster of acoustic folk songs… every kind of music a feller could want. I got to play, my buddy Myron Hart got to play… a bevy of Hurl’s musical pals rotated on and off stage. It was truly a night to remember!
One week later… tonight… Jack Casady and I played the first Hot Tuna set of 2016 fêting the opening weekend of our 19th year hear at the Fur Peace Ranch. Nineteen years… who would have thought it? Anyway… here:

RINGO AT THE BEACON this year!!!!! The chorus is easy “Ringo , Ringo”.
“…
But on his grave they can’t explain
The tarnished star above the name of Ringo
(Ringo… Ringo… )
(Ringo… Ringo… )”
As a sidenote Cathy Richardson played 12 String with Jefferson Starship last night in NYC. A beautiful bittersweet show.
Peace
Love All Ways
I don’t know Jim, “Ringo” was some good singin’. Or was it talkin’? ;0
Sorry I missed Hurl’s show. I heard it was great!
You and Jack were spot on last night…as always! Thanks for another great night of music.
That’s 5 years longer than Bonanza!
(Jorma has a slight edge over Lorne on vocals, too)
Congratulations Captain and Crew on 19 years.
Truly Blessed….
