In the summer of 1972 after an airplane show at Dillon Stadium in Hartford CT a few of us were sitting in front of the bus depot waiting for the 6am bus to Penn Station.Jorma drove up and stopped at a red light. We asked for a ride to NYC because the Airplane were playing a festival at Roosevelt Racetrack the next day. He graciously declined and we all laughed. The next night after the encore , Steven Stills was climbing onto the stage with our help, Jorma looked at us and said I see you made it and smilled. Jorma,Jack & Stills did Crossroads to end the show. That to me is worth more than an autograph. Thanks and tonight I will have my own car to get home from Red Bank.
