What a night!

After the gig the bus dropped Jack and myself off at the hotel by the airport. It was an early flight for me and even with delays I was back at my house by five PM. The bus with Myron and Phil arrived at 0900 this morning and tomorrow I head up to Pittsburgh for the Tree Of Life Benefit.

It’s been quite a run. I’ll be home Wednesday with a couple of days with the family before heading out to California for the three day Hot Tuna New Year’s Gala at the Freight And Salvage.

Onward!

So great to shake your hand. Love you and Jack. Just finished reading your book and it was very emotional. I shall treasure my signed copy. See you at Red Rocks!

actually, what happens when the bus gets stuck in that ditch making the right hand turn, Jack has been known to lift the entire instrument trailer himself, and that usually does the trick. Hell, one night backstage at the Capitol Theater in ’75, I witnessed Casady pull a couple stacks of Marshall amps onstage only using a cable and his super human teeth.
After that, we refered to him as “Jaws Casady” True story.

You speak the truth Mikie. Been out to the Ranch and can attest to the off road skills needed. Must be another private/service entrance to the property.

I continue to marvel how the driver gets that bus and trailer up your road and driveway!
    Welcome home, m

28 songs in Boulder! Thanks for the photo of the backstage pass. Back in the 70’s they were much sought after. I usually got one – thanks Jorma. Otherwise I’d probably be deaf by now. Back in the day you used to really crank it up. Good times.
