l was blessed to be there last night in Easton. Thanks Jorma and Hot Tuna for a terrific show! In anticipation of the occasion, I got the new “album” several weeks ago, and I’m so glad I did. It is a really good collection of songs, and Hot Tuna really presented them to excellent effect last night. My favorites were Angel of Darkness, Smokerise journey, and If This Is Love. I would think an artist’s best time with songs are when they’re fresh, so hearing so many new songs was a treat.

As good as the new stuff was, Hot Tuna still played the living heck out of Rock Me Baby, Hesitation Blues, and Good Shepherd. And my all-time favorite Tuna tune, Keep Your Lamps Trimmed and Burning, was delivered hard and true by Theresa.

I’m still kind of stunned the evening even happened. To hear this band that has been leaders of my culture for over 4 decades in a little theater in my neighborhood is sofa king unbelievable. And Hot Tuna did bring the goods. Good luck on your tour and with your CD – you deserve it!

Jorma-what an amazing night all in. The new material was as great as the classics and you guys rocked harder then I have seen you do in a while-at least in my book! Kudos to my main man Jack who was simply on fire, eyebrow and all!!!! It was great you could bring Larry and Theresa into the fold for these shows. I first saw you in 1979, Jack with SVT in 1980. I was only 5 when my brothers saw you at the Fillmore but I have made up for lost time!!! An amazing night at an amazing venue in my own backyard. I was very priveledged to even be in the front row. Brothers Tom and Wayne will be at the show in Foxboro on Sunday. Keep on keepin’ on, god bless and see ya at the Beacon in December!!!

Oh yeah-simply an amazing evening, thanks again! ;)

Great show. It was a nice surprise that my old pal and sometime drummer Martin LeMaire was running the board. The material from the new cd translates really well on stage. Better than the Beacon show I saw in December. That was a good show but this was better. Good Shepherd was especially happening. You guys really impressed my buddy Stevie Ray. God speed and thanks for everything.
