Socialbly distant. May not be a word, but it sounds a lot friendlier than “social distance”. Get a copyright on that.
The Houston Chronicle prints the Declaration of Independence on its editorial page every July 4th. I read it every July 4th as my personal commemoration of the event and it’s significance. Now, I got me a watermelon chillin’, and will be settling in with a big bowl of it for the 7:00 fireworks display that is the Acoustic Duo. Seeing two old friends reunited doing what they love for themselves and the people who love to watch them is going to be a treat for the ages (no, I didn’t mean aged). Glad you’re back, Jack. This is gonna be special, and I get to be a part of it! Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Welcome back, Jack! Looking forward to another great night of spicey Tuna (roll) Tunes. Now, woof, woof…if only that dog might come back baby, I wish it would. “All my life I’ve been a travellin’ man…”

Thanks to all at FPR for making all this happen!

    Take care and be well.

Preach it, Vanessa! Anyone don’t like it can change channels. Public health is public health, and if we’ve lost sight of that, we need remindin’ in a bad way. Thank you!

    Hi Paula

Jorma here. Thanks for joining us. As for our sundry sessions we go to great lengths to make our Quarantine Concert a peerless production. The lunches are just that, lunches. They take place outdoors on the library porch. (See picture of porch in earlier entry) Social distancing you know. Anyway, we wish we could, but we can’t. We are, however, grateful for your question.

    Stay well…

    Jorma

A lot of people were having weak audio issues last night…My Bose computer speakers and sub-woofer solved that but I realized I had to pump the volume all the way to get good sound…So something was wrong with the signal at some point in the chain…Normally if you turned my Bose all the way up like that you would be blasted out of the room…

Oh, good to hear Jack supplementing Jorma’s playing last night…

Stay away from the lung-choke devil…
