Managed to catch this set on the iClips stream at work, sounded great! Makes up for not being able to catch any of the recent shows. See you at the Sanctuary in September…

Hey Jorma, loved your set and loved meeting you afterwards. I’m the guy with the 13 year old daughter. I told you I bought a second album at Mt. Jam so you could sign it and you said “I Love You.” Anything I can do to get you guys to keep recording. Other than the Gov’t Mule show on Saturday night Hot Tuna was the highlight of the festival.

Saw you guys at the Mountain Jam–have seen Tuna sooo many times, the first at Gaelic Park when Grace had her throat operation, and one of the best at Fillmore East with Leon Russell-the wettest at the Village Gaslight, a club no longer in existence (torential rain outside where we had to wait on line).

In any case, this set at Mountain Jam was the best I’ve seen you guys play in a long time–I think you had a lot of energy from the scene. Other than Gaelic Park, only other time I saw you guys outdoors was at the bandshell in Central Park as the Airplane (Jorma–you blew the Parks PA’s tweeter). Great days, hope you guys play forever.

Only I spaced getting the CD afterwards–had to pee, then the bar, the scene…danced a lot up front though. Thanks guys.

Thanks. Fillmore East, Bananna Fish Gardens, Park, Roadhouse (NYC), Vermont Opera House, American Music Hall-SF, Florida at ? Fishhouse? Shack? Pace, Tarrytown…and many more
