When we got to the Hart Theater at the Rochester JCC there was home made matzah ball soup waiting for us. how much better than that does it get? Oh yeah… pastrami sandwiches too! Hard to argue with perfection. I played two solo sets and here they are:

This is a short entry because it’s up early tomorrow to drive to Virginia to pick up my son and head for California… The hits just keep on coming. More anon!

    Nice! “I’ve been waitin for the taste you said you’d bring to me”… from steely Dans Dr. Wu.Love Steely Dan. After the fact, this is a difficult holiday to get through.

    what a bummer. they killed off steve earle from HBO show TREME. HE WAS GREAT ON THAT SHOW. BUT AT LAST IT IS JUST A TV SHOW.
