City By The Bay

sf 2

Ah, a San Francisco morning from Twin Peaks… better than I remembered it. Before we had to head on over to the Fillmore to get ready for the evening show with David Bromberg, there was time to drive through the City. A stop at the ocean, and then over to the Fillmore.

It was forty five years ago Jefferson Airplane played this venue, and here I am… still playing it, this time with David Bromberg and his friends. Here is my set list:

David did a fabulous set with various configurations of his great band… sometimes joined by the Angel Band. Towards the end of his set he called me back up and we wound up playing several songs together. A grand evening to say the least. Tomorrow os the Kate Wolf Festival and David and I will be doing some more music together. In the meantime…

Been enjoying HT since the 70’s and love catchin’ the boys whenever they come to the NY area. I’ve also had the pleasure of attending the New Orleans Jazz Festival several times and wonder why Electric Hot Tuna isn’t a regular act there. It is a great fit, especially in the Blues Tent. http://www.nojazzfest.com/
    Vanessa, can you hear me?

Pacific Rock, Atlantic Rock and now Electric Hot Tuna shall be rocking around the Mediterranean on Italian soil soon!
Never before with drums, but ‘Vital Parts’ times.
Never before in the history of Rock was there a guitar solo such as Jorma’s Transcendental Solo in ‘Angel Of Darkness’, the gold bar in the infinite marvels embroidered in ‘Steady As She Goes’, prodigious Rock Songs like never before. I never felt like I do, when listening to ‘Steady’.
The greatest Jorma ever, now Rock Music is back in its leading role again!
Thanks Jorma for making all this jubilation happen to us all!
What masts, what a Pleiades of a set list!
Thanks Jorma for makin’ us feel so high & great with your Atomic Rock. Life is a super clean gas when ‘STEADY’ added.
    Safe journey all the way!
