March, 2010
Monday, March 01, 2010 1956 San Francisco, California
The tour with G.E. was over on Friday last and on Saturday after dropping everyone off at airports and such I went down to El Dorado County to visit my dear friends Chuck and Donna. The whole family joined me the next day and we spent two days in glorious mountain solitude. A day in San Francisco and now we're on our way home. Even though this trip was rewarding on every level, there's no place like home and that's where we're headed.
More from the County later...

I've been home for a week now and somehow it seems like a day. Spring is around the corner and as always there is so much to do to get everything ready. Work around the house... cleanup and more. At the Ranch, we have our opening weekend coming up and it will be great to see Marjorie again as well as the students and my buddies at the FPR.
It is sunny today as it was yesterday. Yesterday my pal Jerry and I got to take a little motorcycle ride up to Laurelville in the Hocking Hills. It got a little brisk up there in the snow but it was a great ride nonetheless.
This morning I'm sitting at the Jeep dealer getting some servicing done and taking advantage of this relatively hi speed internet. I dropped my daughter off at school and she was delightful. There's breakfast in my future and all things considered life is indeed truly good!
Onward...
Tuesday, March 09, 2010 0834 Athens, Ohio
In town this morning by 0615 and at the Gym... I'm so diligent. A delicious breakfast at the Village Bakery and it's off to the Harley shop. Spring is coming you know and the Ranch is opening this weekend and I'd love to be riding. Sort but sweet... gotta run.
Wednesday, March 17, 2010 1421 Hillsongfarm, Meigs County
The first weekend at the Fur Peace with Marjorie Thompson was a resounding success. A great way to start our thirteenth year. Good things are just around the corner.
Saturday, March 20, 2010 1229 Long Island, New York
A fourteen hour drive up from Ohio yesterday. Myron and I beat the traffic in the NYC are by stopping off at Barry Mitterhoff's digs and having dinner in Scotch Plains. Good stuff. I am very excited about 'putting the band back together,' as Barry and I re-unite to play a two set gig out here in Bayshore, LI.
More will definitely be revealed.
Sunday, March 21, 2010 0121 Brentwood, New York
Two shows at the Boulton Center in Bayshore, Long Island. It's the first time Barry and I have done our duo since the Whole Foods gig in Columbus last year. All things considered it was a complete gas and we played a lot of songs... as you shall see:

Yes indeed... I've been remiss in writing but well, I've been home with lots to do. This weekend We have Stefan Grossman, who just did a fantastic set, and Larry Coryell and his trio who are playing a simply amazing show. I have known Larry for a great many years and he just keeps getting better and better. He is one of the great ones of all times, that's for sure and it's an honor to have him teaching and playing here. Well, I'm out front to listen some more. I'm writing this backstage and that's great, but I need to see him as well as hear him. Spring was lovely today... I've been told it's going to get even warmer. More anon...
