Yep, it was a really good night. Tomorrow we’ll be in Madison, Wisconsin at the Barrymore Theater. It’s been a while since we’ve been at the gold old Barrymore so this should be fun. We’re expecting that big storm coming from the West to effect our drive time so it’s going to be an early bus call… which means, it’s bed time.
Good night all…
Glad you guys could make it through the snow to the Barymoor.
Pat & I loved the show. Jack/seemed to warm up enough to drive the bass, Barry plays all them strings even the uke, Jorma you are fantastic.
Joyful blues & good folks makes for a wonderful evening.
Thanks,
Jim
Jorma, Jack, Barry & Crew; Thanks for such a rollicking fine show last nite. I confess that I was disappointed at news of the venue change, and yet my first visit to Mill City Nights quickly erased any trouble from my mind. Getting seated into the balcony with my pal Frank & meeting seat-mates in front of us changed my mood, and I comfortably settled in with the rest of the house…for a most glorious journey toward acoustic euphoria…and THEN the music began. I was simply awestruck at being witness to how much you guys enjoy playing together, at your individual and collective demonstration of craft, and how beautifully your instruments sang. Your show was the absolute best birthday present I’ve given myself in years, and the value for entertainment dollars spent will surely be unmatched for years to come. To say I’m delighted to have been there is an understatement, and I now cherish my LSP 4353 & LSP 4550 vinyls even more. Yes, I’m a fan of Hot Tuna! Thank you.
Looking forward to seeing you at the Barrymore tonight. My first Hot Tuna show!
Safe travels… and say hi to Jack!

Thanks for your loyal honesty. Which includes the continuity of playing and being a husband and father……………
Dear Jorma:
Thank you for sharing a part of yourself through this blog. You already give so much through your music, performing, and your dedication to craft. You once blessed me with a moment of your time and a story about hosting PTA meetings. You don’t know what a lift you gave.
Before you get home to see your Babies, my newlywed first and her Aussie husband will be taking in your late show in Chicago. Man are they in for a treat!
All the best to you
Hey Jorma,
Maybe you can get a picture of Barry or Jack to pose with a cheese head on..:)
Safe travels and there’s no place like home. Just keep telling yourself you’ll be in sunny Jamaica soon.
Take Care
Hogan
