Yep… it’s the Fourth Of July again and it’s about more than fireworks and food, although that’s a big part of it. Last night Vanessa and Izze and I joined some dear friends for dinner up over at the Lake Hope Lodge. A beautiful spot, and great dinner and fine fellowship. Afterwards we took the back roads to get to Athens where we watched the fireworks over the Hocking River. Just parked by the side of the road and looked up. Good times. Today, we celebrated the Fourth with family. We hit the bike path with Izze and her best friend Lucy and the girls rode over ten miles.

It rained a little but what’s a little rain when you’re on an adventure? All things considered, it couldn’t have been a nicer day fora a birthday!

G_d shed his grace on thee… and all of us.

Happy Birthday America!
