Jorma, My friend Dave told me that guitar had two Single coil pick ups. They look really large, unlike Strat pick ups, are there other properties built into the pick ups to give it more bite? I’m guessing you would have a Hybrid Gibson/Strat custom built pick up, just a guess.
ocean city monday night great venue hot tuna electric. plenty of energy even jack got into it. great sound guitar licks were fantastic. best they have played and sounded in awhile. great job everyone.
The show ” down the shore” lol, in Ocean City was simply superb! You guys ALL can just show everyone else ” how its done son! ” Sound system improved greatly after the break, thanks! I was amazed and impressed by all, and have been your fan since forever…got to thank you and a quick hello to you on the Boardwalk. I cant thank you enough for the show , the entire band rocks !
I should have said the Academy of Music,since it was 74,75.
Just caught your show in Ocean City,NJ. Jack seemed to come alive tonight.Was hoping to see Jorma play his new guitar. Would love to see a remake of a Palladium late show,with the staff trying to get you guys off stage.
Are you guys going to Jamaica again?
Aw-some. Cant what to see you play it. Are you coming out west, anytime soon. Deadwood has a great jam
@susan ansanelli
I saw that him last night on long island – really close – 2nd row and I saw that, but I could not make it out either. Jack with a tattoo? BTW – the show was intense – blew me away. By the end of show I was in the 20th row!
Oh the show in NJ was tremendous, really awesome.
Could anyone tell me what Jack has on his right hand? Is it a tat?
Hey Jorma, tell us some road stories. The heat, the truckers, buses and what it is all about doing what you do up on the stage playing music to the crowds out there.
@Cyndy Consentino
Brunswick was a tremendous show . Anyone that missed that one i feel bad for. I hear that Patchogue was just as intense and i would bet that tonite in Ocean City will be as well. I love Hot Tuna and as long as you guys can get out there and play for us i will be there as often as i can !
Enjoy! Looking forward to seeing you at the Whitaker.
Just got back from Hot Tuna show in State Theatre, New Brunswick, NJ – awesome show with great energy from all 4 members of the bad. Many standing o’s. I’m still humming 99 Year Blues. Way to go guys – thanks.

It looks like a tiger, and I want to hear it roars like one. So pretty, I hope there are many many years to come you’ll enjoy it. As always God bless Hot Tuna which is easier to say than to list all families / individuals involved. See you at the show.
Awesome design and workmanship, can’t wait to hear more about it.
Good looking guitar Jorma. Hope to hear it in Brunswick and Patchogue.
serious axe, J-man. I’d even be willing to have Acoustic HT on hold a little longer to hear that thing in action.
Congrats on your new beautiful guitar Jorma! Looking forward to hearing you play it sometime soon! Sending many blessings!
