The view from Weehawken

The view from Weehawken

This is my first view of One World Trade Center and as beautiful as it is, it is a bittersweet moment for me. We all lost so much that day… I won’t belabor the point but those of you who know what I mean… know what I mean.

Morning in the sun...

Morning is the sun...

Nuff said for now.

Funny you mentioned the traffic on Varick Street, My Dad owned a printing company on Varick in the 70s and I remember the traffic was bad back then, we used to commute together through the Holland Tunnel every day to NJ. I moved to Calif in 1980 and was just back there recently to explore my old stomping grounds. Wow! things have really changed, which is not surprising. I used to make a lot of deliveries to the WTC towers and it was always a fun experience. Brings back a lot of good memories.

    Dear Jorma,
Another hot day in the city! Varick St area is always a mess during the week!
Yeah, we lost so much that awful day, and we will never get it back, but as you always say,”Onwards”!
See you tonight! I can’t wait!
    Stay Well,
    Cyndy

It’s not the same Jorma, it’ll never be the same. We lost so much. It’s like someone knocked out our two front teeth. See you on Long Island @ the Talkhouse. It’s a bit cooler out there.
