This was last night’s show, of course. It’s 0655 here in Jay and we’ll be rolling towards Stafford, Connecticut shortly for a show at the Stafford Palace Theater.

Many years ago we were staying in Elmore. When we visited family there we usually skied Stowe or Smugglers Notch . I had always been intrigued with the idea of going to Jay Peak and giving it a shot. No one wanted to go because of the cold so I went alone. My skiing skills were just ok but figured I may never get the chance to get up there again and try it out. Turns out I was right about that. Jay sure was a challenge for me what with the wind and the frigid temps I was grateful to have skied it but lucky I didn’t get hurt. ent-16938″>@johno

Loved the set @ Jay, it’s right up near the Canadian border. Too far and too steep to ski. But I sure wished I was there for Tuna. Stay warm.
Hot show at frigid Jay, indeed! We are happy for the excitement and inspiration up here in the northern outposts as we luxuriate through the longjohn days of early winter. Thanks for including us in your tours, Jorma. Hard working band, indeed! I am happy to have attended, and glad to have the posted setlist to refresh my memory. IMO, Jorma can flatten a finger, and then go to a precise single note on a bent knuckle faster and with greater precision than…well, anyone that I know of. Us goal oriented types love a good role model. Keep the faith. Have fun.
Looks like a hot show at frigid Jay Peak . Impressive set list. The band sounds great Jorma and I am looking forward to my next show wherever and whenever that may be. Maybe The Keswick in Glenside which is one of my favorite places . It’s a straight shot out the turnpike for me and it has a great little bar right across the street . Be well .

What a great show, I brought my youngest daughter, who happens to share your birthday to the show and she was quite impressed that you guys still sound so good after so many years. She had heard your music and “some” of the stories from the shows her whole life and was glad she finally got to see you live. She told me she’s ready for the Beacon. She was the last of my three girls to see you guys perform live and it is so cool to share with them that part of my life before I was MOM. Thank you for that.
Once again it was a great show.

Hardest working band in…..well, that I know of.
Joking aside, I see “Heart Temporary” reared it’s head. Not to mention “Keep on Truckin'”, and “New Song for the Morning”. Good stuff. This Tuna fan will have to wait for the next opportunity to maybe hear these gems. The schedule you guys keep is quite impressive. Knowing the Tuna way, I’m sure you are coming up with new creative ways to present these numbers. I know how much y’all love to play. Well-we fans out here love to listen just as much. Hot Tuna is one of the best things to happen in my small world. That, to me, means a lot.
