Let's go boss... I'm ready!
On a nice early morning before heading out on the road, Maverick, Dog Of Destiny and I took our pre prandial perambulation.

The old school road in the morning
An old wagon road used to run through our little farm back in the 1800’s. This part is still left near where the old one room school house used to be. Maverick and I love this walk.

Welcome to the day
It looks like this every morning… and I love it!

The old donkey engine
As I have mentioned before, we have a natural gas well… and here is where it starts.
Yesterday Izze started her archery training and she’s a natural. Here she is shooting at the Fur Peace Ranch.

nice form
The arrow left that compound bow and hit the target with a resounding ‘Thwack!’

Izze 'Katniss' Kaukonen sends another one down range!
That’s my girl! NIce shot Izze!
Today we headed out to Maryland… my home time is over for a bit. Tomorrow we play The Common Ground On The Hill Festival as this little run begins.
I’ll miss the girls and home, but I gotta make a few bucks!
Onward!
Hey Jorma, Jack, Barry
Great acoustic show last night in Westminster, MD – Common Hill on the Green…it was a hot day and a hot night’ primo for some hot tuna…….thanks…
Thanks for the great family photo’s and update! Wishing you a successful tour and safe travels. Hope to see you in DC in December, can’t wait!
Sorry, Boz.
My biggest disappointment at a concert is still a fresh wound in my mind, some 40 years later. Box Scaggs was second billed with the Allman Brothers. Bear in mind this was just a couple of years after Duane was gone. After Scaggs set, the lights stayed down for 5 minutes! I was the lone voice at the Fabulous Forum screaming ‘Encore! Encore!’. The other 17,999 concertgoers sat on their hands the entire time.
I wanted to hear Loan Me a Dime so bad. I know I should get over it, but it still hurts, this many years later 🙂
@jim hitchcock
I just didn’t want rich to be disappointed if they didn’t play his setlist.
I get where rich is coming from, though, johno, the anticipation of a Tuna show is part of the fun 🙂
Dear Jorma,
Thank you for the lovely pictures, and for always sharing with all of us!

@rich l.
Highway Song is one of my favorites too.
You’re gonna love them acoustic.
Love that early morning light slicing through the trees. The beauty of it all .
@johno
Of course I’m kidding. Just getting excited for Tuesdays show. Although I really would like to hear Highway song. A bit hard to imagine what that would sound like acoustically. Trust me, anything the boys play will be fine by me!
Have a great tour and
Safe travels
Hogan
🙂
Dear Jorma
That strong and sharp morning light, G-d bless, is there every morning so live & bright, revitalizes the soul after the sound sleep of the night, goes right inside the eyes to give life to the mind, tastes so pure comin’ from who knows where, G-d bless that morning air.
Rock Them All High Today Tonight Jorma!
rich l – you gotta be kidding me. you expect hot tuna to play an entire show for you – maybe a song – if they know it – but a whole show – no way jose.
I know the look on that dogs face,love.I’ve done animal rescue for many years.
God Bless.
