I just want to say is Jorma is the only guitar player today that can play by himself to 5000 people and get the guy in the last row to say this guy is unreal .jorma and his Martin m30 is the best guitar player of our time and thank god he is still going as strong as ever .we love you Jorma for all the great music you have been playing for us fans all these years and thank god you are still going as strong as ever
Hi Jorma you know I have been a fan from the old days and I am shore you know I have cancer at the end of January I am haveing alive saving operation so many people on YouTube have wished me well but don’t understand why you have not reach out to me wishing me well I do a lot of videos on hot tuna I don’t see anyone else doing what I do for you guys I know sometimes I say things that my not be right but believe me I talk from my heart when I go to see hot tuna all I want is classic hot tuna I wa nt to here songs that you guys don’t do anymore and it hurts me all I ever wanted was for you to kick the shit out because I know you can I will fight this cancer with everything I got I now have 2grand kids Jorma please get back to jamming just one. I’m sitting here in my office at 10:30 PM on Christmas Day at a Young Men’s Residential Substance Treatment Program thinking about some of the mistakes of my past and about the hope I have for the 40 men tonight in treatment here. We had a nice Christmas here today, most of the clients ate better meals today than they have all year and most seem grateful not to be in jail or prison tonight. While most of America celebrated Christmas today with family almost all of them here do not even have that option even if they were clean and sober. I am grateful though to be here at least doing something positive and life affirming for others. Staff brought in CD’s with a mix of cultures and decades. I played the Jorma Christmas Album which was a hit. I also played them Embryonic Journey several times which was really enjoyed by most of these young men, who’s parents weren’t even born when this came out. It just goes to show how music can transcend generations, cultures and ethnicities and bring something new and something special into peoples lives.
Dear Mark… This reminds me to always keep it green… where there is life, there is hope and redemption is almost always possible. Give my best to the gentlemen in your program! Nice, very nice!
