Sunset before the drive
A beautiful evening at home before the drive to Virginia… The hot Ohio weather has returned, and you know… that’s OK. The Farmer’s Almanac says it’s going to be another harsh winter so we’re enjoying this as long as we can.

Izze and Maverick... post dinner
The big Mav’ was hanging with us after dinner… as always. We love this dog, plus… when he barks the windows rattle.

Coffee on the porch... with Mom's old Flag
Beatrice’s old flag from Talmont in Tahoe… keeps us company every morning at the pergola.
After a beautiful ride from Ohio, through the mountains of West Virginia and Virginia, we arrived in Lynchburg in time to dine at Ty Thai.

This place rocks!
Tonight, Hot Tuna plays at midnight on the Triangle Stage after Tom Petty’s show on the main stage.

Jorma on the steps of the Beatrice Love Kitchen
That’s about it for now… thinking about the coming Fall at home…

My front yard
Yeah, it’s a trick shot I know, but I like it anyway. Filters… I love them!
Thanks Hamneggs for validating my memory on that SWINGER commercial.
The dog of destiny.
Vinny is a national treasure who loves to poke fun at himself. When he first learned of Twitter, he asked himself “what do you call messages sent on that, twits?”, and when informed that Troy Tulowitski’s haircut was called a mullet, remarked “I thought that was a type of fish!”.
I know that one – it’s a classic from the band that Hot Tuna came from. Jorma, you look too cool in the shades.
Chuck Newman, I can still smell the chemical used to coat Polaroids, distinctive stuff.
Just now, Vin Scully on AZ Diamondback pitcher Trevor Cahill: “they say when Cahill warms up, he plays ‘White Rabbit”, by Jefferson Airplane.
“Oh, yeah, I’m very familiar with it”
For all you groovy swinging guy s and gals

Love All Ways
Meet the SWINGER, POLAROID SWINGER…only $19 dollars and 99, was the jingle.
Speaking of washed out Polaroids, does anybody remember when they first came out and you had to wipe them with liquid coating? I used to watch my Dad go through the whole process.
Nice picture of the sunset. Have a good show tonight.
Safe travels.
🙂
My Front Yard looks like a Polaroid that somebody left laying in a sunny windowsill for a few years. Very cool.
Do you really think the Farmers Almanac is credible? I wonder what it said about last winter. I watch the NOAA and they say it’s gonna be a mild autumn and winter. I hope they’re right.
Kinda seing an elephant roughly brownish, but what is so clear is that ‘Tondo Jorma’. That’s the masterpiece of our times.
Rock Them All High Tonight Jorma!
Nice dog.
Children and dogs…gotta love them.
Seems to me that with the number of times you are in the same orbit as Warren and Derek a little acoustic collaboration is in order. I know you’ve played with Warren electrically but acoustic would be real interesting.
