Rainbow at the Ranch a couple of days ago

This picture was a couple of days ago, but it set the scene for today’s Thanksgiving.

Vanessa and her sister Ginger spent 24 hours cooking a magnificent dinner in the Beatrice Love Kitchen at the Fur Peace Ranch. Friends and family… a perfect day!

The Kaukonen Boys see dinner coming!

Yeah… it was a repast to remember… and we do not forget the many blessings we enjoy individually and together!

The scene of the crime...

Not much more to say right now, except a very happy Thanksgiving… one and all!

    Hey Jorma,

Heard I missed a really good show last night, awesome set list…I’m sure tonight will be just as good. Sorry I have to miss it but looking forward to the electric shows this weekend…
Have fun with your old buddy Jack…

    Happy Thankgiving
Saw Mr. Balin last night in NY at the Cutting Room
Imagine NOT hearing Miracles,Volunteers or Caroline and still being completely blown away. Jamaican me crazy indeed. He did some great new ones slipping in “Gold” and then smoked through an Airplane set that was mind blowing. Just random memories ,not in order “Today”, “Comin Back to Me”, Blues from an Airplane”, “Fat Angel”, “Young Girl Sunday” ‘Come up the Years”, “It’s no Secret’ “Good Shepard” “Summer of Love”,”Funny Cars”, “3/5 of a mile”. Starship songs beside the aforementioned Gold-“Papa John” with a nice story about Papa and Hubie Blake at the house,”Count on ME”, “There will be love” ” Runaway” “Hearts (from solo times.).. and “Stripper” and four or five other new ones
Gets you there on time indeed.!!
Thank you Marty and the band.
Looking forward to the Beacon , everybody enjoy the next two nights they should be really special.
    Peace
    Love All Ways

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family, Jorma.
This is my favorite holiday. Sharing food and having gratitude with others should not be taken for granted.
Before I moved back to NY in 2000, I always made the trek back here for the annual pre, or post T-day Tuna shows, Irving Plaza, Tramps, The Beacon, etc. I’m really excited for the Highline shows. I don’t have my Beacon ticket yet, but I’ll find a way.
This Jan. I’ll be moving back to Cal. Ya never know, but these could be the last holiday NYC shows I’ll attend. With that in mind it will be special for me. As if they’re not ALL special. Get lots of rest, Jorma & Jack, and thank you for always being there. I love you guys.

Beautiful rainbow photo and good looking family. Hope it was a blessed Thanksgiving. There’s no such thing as too much turkey and dressing.

Thank you Jorma. I hope that Thanksgiving with your family was all that it could be . How are you and Zach coming along with I See the light? Will see you soon at the Beacon and hoping that get a Holiday Marmalade?

The oustanding features of the Kaukonen Boys featuring Zach and Jorma as the two profiles on the horizon of New Americas.
