So, last night we were at the Ridgefield Playhouse in Ridgefield, Connecticut. Needless to say, it was very cold, but the boys and I warmed things up a little when we got on stage.

This morning we got to sleep in a little because we only had to drive up to Boston. Tomorrow is our first show with Leon Russell at the Wilbur Theater here in Boston about which, more shall be revealed.
Onward…
Jorma – It great to meet you and your performance with the band was amazing! (Thanks to Billy and Lynn)!!! Fur Peace Ranch looks like a blast! Keep on Jammin’ friend!
@jim hitchcock
jim: it’s one of my favorite places to see Tuna… or Jorma.. I don’t think I’ve missed a mccabes show since the early 90s… not sure when the first time they played there.
Been ten years since I saw Tuna at McCabe’s,Doug. Blue Country Heart was on fine display that night.
Rock Them All Hot tonight Jorma!
it’s only January and getting excited for Mccabes 🙂
ps Durgin Park is the place for baked beans in Boston…Good and inexpensive too!
While in Beantown don’t forget a big bowl of baked beans. And some oysters @ Ye Old Oyster House, the place Daniel Webster used to down a dozen or two.
I love Boston, I Iove Hot Tuna and I love my guitar. Have fun the polar vortex is heading back north and sunshine’s waitin for you – further down the road.
We had tickets . I have some health issues and could not get in the van. We missed it.Our bad !
That’s some bad hat Jack
Hmmm, I stand corrected. I must have been really tired. My mind said Embryonic Journey. Probably more wishful thinking on my part than reality. Thank you for the great show.
Wow, never happened before, we now have the case of a missing song. Where did the mighty good one “Embryonic Journey” end up to?. It ain’t on the set list. This case must be brought to the evidence of the public and so the gig published live on Hot Tuna iTuna… iTunes for a burst of applause in any case.
Frostily glossy pics
It’s Hot Tuna Rockin’ on fine wooden discs
Tuna’s Chariot rolls in a swish
Through the green and icy nights
Guitars Bass and Mandolin free their heavenly melodies
Jorma sings independent from the heavy weather or low tides
Hurray to the Hot Tuna Winning Polar Song of Victory Contest
The fortune of loving the Tuna is our next best text
Thank you Jorma, Jack and Barry for an amazing show! After 33 years of listening to your music and seeing dozens of shows, I took my daughters, ages 15 and 12, last night. They LOVED you guys! And you now have two new fans.
Best,
Jeff
Jorma is the best.
Love him.
The encore in Ridgefield was Embryonic Journey and a mighty good one I might add. Not Water Song. I have a much better photo of Jack modeling the Hot Tuna ski hat. Where do I send it to Jorma?
Howard… I beg to differ. I picked up the G tuned Jorma M-30… took the capo off the third fret where I had it so I could play Bar Room Crystal ball in B flat and played water song in G.
Jorma
One of the sweetest sounding Tuna shows ever – that’s after 38 years of seeing the band live. Thanks, guys! You’re the best.
