One of the worst things about touring must be leaving all the great places you visit.

Of course, it’s always a fine thing to be home, but the gypsy is happiest at the moment when the wheel first starts to turn.

Caught your show in Boca. You have to teach me your fingerpicking style. I am listening to the typewriter tapes as I am typing this and I would LOVE to learn that style…I have a couple of photos of you and Jack from Buffalo, NY in the early 70’s. Is there a way to upload them? There was a third guitarist who I have been unable to identify…

Little Ms. Izze’s iMovie was adorable. She is the sweetest girl scout in all of Ohio. She was very poised. And I’m sure all the troops will appreciate it.

Toms River NJ isn’t listed on Jorma’s tour page. Please give more information. That’s my hometown and I’d love nothing better than to fly home to see the boys play there.. @Bernie

Please don’t forget that tomorrow is MLK day. I don’t think that mail is delivered, as it is a National Holiday.
No problem with that distinction, although it’s a good day to write a check to Izze’s Girl Scout Troop and put it in your nearest mailbox, for the Tuesday morning mail collection. Within two or three days, your envelope will be sent and received by Miss Izze, at home in Ohio.

Miss Izze is beautiful as the moon and has grown into a beautiful, heart-shaped face; full of happy joyfulness. A lovely, glowing with pride face, open to whatever she receives during her Girl Scout Cookie project.

Izze is in sort of a unique position of being the daughter of Jorma and Vanessa:
If you work in an office, you know that some co-workers sell Girl Scout cookies to their office co-workers.
Jorma and Vanessa work, although not in an “office-type” situation.
We are considered to be the equivalent of co-workers.

Greetings Jorma. Was listenin’ to radio yd and heard some awesome news- you and the band are playing electric in June at a town 10 minutes away from me, Toms River NJ ! I have seen you guys 3 times in the last 4 yrs. Your band (and Dickey Betts and Great Southern) are my faves to see live; the great music you guys lovingly share with us fans exceeds the nuisance of the ‘yap-to-the-guy-next-to-you-while-the-band-plays’ idjits that attend concerts. So, thanks for coming to central Jersey, God speed and may we be a great crowd.

A splendid set in Boca yesterday…short but sweet! And lots of other great music. (I could’ve sworn the opening tune was “That’ll Never Happen No More”?)
