As I left the Ranch yesterday... the snow began to fall.

Yeah… 17 degrees this morning and four inches of snow fell overnight. It’s not winter… but it’s coming.

Yep... it snowed last night

We fed the cats… Zammy and Weasley and they got some warm milk to boot. They stayed toasty under the porch and came out for breakfast. I hitched Maverick, Dog Of Destiny, up and we headed down the driveway.

He was leaping around and really enjoying himself in the early dawn.

Down the old road, past the ancient trailer and back up by the oil well.

Natural gas... right to the house...

Thank goodness our gas well is still producing… well, time to see if I put the plow on my tractor correctly… at least it’s warm in the house.

Onward…

I’m really looking forward to the show Saturday night when you guest with Hurl & the Spins. John’s music is rockstar quality in it’s own right, can’t wait to see what your guitar will add. That’s quite a band, too! Always a sucker for a hot sax player.
I’m sure I will flash to the nights upstairs in The Union (may it now rest in peace) with The Bogus Bros. during my whisky years. Saturday is gonna rock. m

Yes, Cutting Room show’s cancellation is a disappointment, but looking forward to Electric at the Beacon and The Egg. Keep those fingers warm!

City boy that I am , I found that gas pump fascinating.
May soon be living in another nearby city so big changes going on. Went to Black 47 last show before retirement, like the Airplane and Clash I love all different incarnations and enjoyed their run.
Clevland’s gain on the 29th is the loss of my dream at Marty’s Cutting Room Show but I’ll have the Beacon and you lucky dogs will have the Highline. Plus those Sunday, Monday gigs sometimes make for a rough work week.
This house buying may crimp my style.Thank heavens for ticket sales from a few months ago. Keep enjoying life and sharing it with your blog Mr. K
    Peace
    Love All Ways
